Upper Hudson Library System Catalog
-> UHLS serves libraries in the Albany and Rensselaer counties. If they have an item we don't have, stop in to the library and we can request it on your behalf. There is no charge to request items from UHLS, and most of the time we will have it in about 2 weeks.

Virtual Online Regional Catalog
-> A one-stop location to simultaneously search the public, school, college, and special libraries in the 10-county area served by SALS, MVLS, and UHLS. If there is an item in CDLC you would like to request, please stop in to the library. There is no charge to request items from CDLC, and we will usually have your item within 2 weeks.
Library of Congress Online Catalog
-> If you require an item for research or a school project/thesis that isn't available in our library systems, the Library of Congress may have it for you. We charge a $3.00 fee to recoup the costs of postage and processing, but there is no additional fee. Items requested from the Library of Congress may not leave our building per the LC ILL agreement.
OCLC Open WorldCat
-> Usually a last-resort, we can usually find your item in WorldCat after we've exhausted other resources. Most libraries charge a fee for items we request this way, which rarely exceeds $10. Bancroft charges an additional $3 fee to help recoup the cost of postage and processing. Items requested from WorldCat sometimes take up to 4 weeks. To request an item from WorldCat, please stop in to the library.
