Salem/Hebron-area digital Cemetery Archives-Free access to everybody! Digitised by volunteers to assist patrons' in their genealogical research.

 

EBSCO Masterfile Select, provided by NOVEL
A database of over 2,700 periodical titles including Consumer Reports, Business Week, Newsweek, and Smithsonian.

 

Custom Newspapers, provided by NOVEL
A newspaper database containing the full text of over 95 major newspapers, including The New York Times (since 1/1/2000) and the Albany Times Union (since 3/1/1986).

Many of these databases will require a library card. Includes NOVEL databases.


Many of these tools are provided through the Bancroft Library's membership in the Southern Adirondack Library System. Part of the licensing costs for these databases are paid for by central library grants to the Crandall Public Library and/or Schenectady County Public Library from the New York State department of education. NOVELny databases partially funded by a grant to the New York State Library under the Library Services and Technology Act (administered by the Institute for Museum and Library Services)
